Much like humans, plants need a little extra help and a lot of love during their infancy to grow up big and healthy. At Gardener's Edge, our seed pots, trays, and grow plugs make it so you can be certain your seedlings are getting the support they need to reach adulthood.
What is a seed pot or tray?
Seed pots and trays are incubators that help your seeds reach maturity. They ensure better nutrient availability for each seed, and nurture them from the germination stage all the way through their infancy, until they are ready to move to a bigger pot. They're preferable to other options, like planting in larger containers, because they offer improved water drainage and more control over each individual seed.
What's a grow plug, and do I need one?
Like seed pots and trays, grow plugs are another way of helping your seeds reach adulthood. Our grow plugs are a mixture of high-quality peat and other organic materials, with a small hole on top. Just drop your seeds into the hole, close it up, and water regularly. Soon, your seeds will be healthy enough to be transplanted to bigger containers, without removing the plug.
