Product Features
- Coating the Nameplates You can give your markers an added level of protection for when they are exposed to more extreme conditions such as excessive sun, rain, or snow. Several customers have noted that they have had success when coating the nameplates with Permalac (a clear air-dry lacquer) or other weather-resistant coatings. Coating the Wires If you live in an area with a high acidity in your soil, you can enhance the life of your wire standards by coating them. Some customers dip the bottom 4" of the wire into a material called? Dip It', a product similar to a roof coating. If you decide to use this method with our PMD-10 or PMD-21 Labels, be sure to put the nameplates on the wires before dipping to ensure that you will be able to slide them into place.
