This TRU PRO Round Point Digging Shovel utilizes a thick wall, Heavy-Duty Fiberglass handle with steel insert throughout the blade and handle connection. Made with 14-gauge tempered steel tool head, the standard #2 size blade measures 8.75in wide. Oversized forward-turned steps and perforated tread provide traction and control while digging. Properly weighted at 5lb and measuring 58in overall in length. The 48in long fiberglass handle is complete with a cushion grip. The complete shovel tests up to 400lb of working load in dynamic load tests.
