The TRU PRO 4in California Trenching Shovel utilizes a thick wall, Heavy-Duty Fiberglass handle. Made with a heavy-duty, 13-gauge tempered steel blade and large, flush forward-turned steps for optimal control and scoop capacity. Thhis common 4in wide blade is angled at 35 degrees. Weighing just 3.8lb and measuring 56in overall in length. The 46in long fiberglass handle is complete with a cushion grip. Components are precisely assembled and secured with a large steel collar at the shovel socket to handle connection for increased strength. A steel insert throughout the blade and handle connection tests up to 400lb of working load in dynamic load tests.
