I use this in the deep water holding drains around my house - but not my pond because it may deter frogs and toads. However I feel the best use for this is as a protection for squash production. I put a few granules in a jar of water and then inject my squash plants with it (using a plastic syringe with tiny needle) to fight against squash vine borer worms. It really works, borers are treated or discouraged, and my squash plants have delivered many healthy zucchini and other varieties for years.

Perfect product. Use in birdbaths and small pond for years and recommend them to anyone who asks me about them, usually when I'm on a checkout line. Glad to see they come in granular form. I also break them up to put in potting soil for house plants as all the name brand potting soils I, and friends, have purchased over the last few years have gnats in the soil. Works like a charm.
