QUESTION: WHAT DO I DO IF MY SPRAYER IS SPRAYING DOWN INTO THE GROUND, NOT UP?
ANSWER: SOMETIMES IN SHIPPING, THE SPRAY TUBE GETS PUSHED DOWN, AND IT NEEDS TO BE 'POPPED' BACK UP. ROTATE THE SPRAY TUBE GENTLY UNTIL THE CAM POPS DOWN, AND THE JETS ARE POINTED SLIGHTLY UP. SEE 'LINKS' BELOW FOR PICTURES.Jennifer

Not what I was hoping.

Nelson has always a good brand, and I thought ordering it from [you], I would be getting Nelson's best. Not so. Even though it's mostly metal, the moving mechanism parts are plastic and seem to get stuck. Where the hose attaches, there is no screen. We took a small screen from our old sprinkler and attached it and that did help, but the sprinkler eventually still got clogged and would stop spraying. Maybe it is because we have well water. I don't know, but regardless I was disappointed. I wish the sprinkler was all metal. I'd be willing to pay for that.

Great for use with well water - really good range and output - mostly tough metal parts - just have to be careful w/the hose connect (broke the first one pulling the hose by the sprinkler.) Best one I have used - watered 1.25 acres all season with it.

I use Nelson sprinklers almost exclusively at work. They are strong dependable sprinklers and very easy to use.
