The Best

It was recommended to me by my boss. She was absolutely right, it is the best. The only criticism would be with regards to the handle rivets. They protrude about a 1/16th of an inch and unless you are wearing gloves they can rub on your palms and fingers causing blisters and/or abrasions if you are using it for any length of time.

Best tool

This is indisputably the most useful tool I have. In fact I have three, left at various parts of the garden so I always have one where I need it, and I give them as gifts to gardening friends. So much more useful than a hand shovel.

Does the job

This is a great tool for quickly uprooting and dispatching plantain, dandelion, and other unwanted soil dwellers. The serrated edge is a bonus for making quick work of chopping down certain types of vines, too.

Got this from my daughter for Father's Day. No dislikes. Use this tool all the time. Great for digging my daylilies. No need for a knife and shovel, this tool does it all from digging to splitting.

I purchased this tool about 2 years ago and wonder how I ever survived without it! It is so handy. If I run into a root while digging, you can just flip it over to the serrated side and cut right through the root. It fits comfortably in my hand and is very well made. My sister helped me in my gardens last summer and I almost didn't get it away from her. I gave her one this year for her birthday and she was so pleased. Thank you for a wonderful tool.

Multi-Purpose Hori Hori Knife

I received one as a gift a few years ago and now I don't enter the garden without it and the pruners. This tool is incredibly versatile; weeding, small plantings, scraping weed seedlings, cutting through smaller roots, etc.. Am now purchasing four as Christmas gifts. Be warned: this tool is sharp...but that is what makes it so great.
