Camo paint makes them disappear

I use these tree wraps to protect my American holly and Japanese maples trunks against sap sucker and squirrel damage in the winter time. The white color of the wraps is not attractive in a yard setting so, I spray paint them in a mottled pattern with three different colors of camouflage paint (beige, dark brown, and forest green). All of the outer surface of the plastic must be painted and this is most easily done by wrapping them around a large cardboard mailing tube for painting.
