Well-designed tool

This is a fine trowel for transplanting. It is sturdy, with thicker metal than I expected. Aluminum means no rust. The narrow blade and tapered point make it good for transplanting, even in drier or harder soil. The measurements on the blade are handy and the padded handle is comfortable in use. It can be hung up when not in use. The price is reasonable too.

leonard transplanter

I have small, slightly arthritic hands and this is very comfortable to use. It is light but still very sturdy. I like being able to hang it. The numbers are easy to read. If it holds up for several years, I'll give it 5 stars.

I really like this product! Being a landscaper, I go through trowels alot. This one is very comfortable to use for an extended period of time. My crew tends to break the tips often, especially in our rocky soils, but this one has remained intact and not chipped. Love the inch marks; it really helps when you are planting bulbs and seeds. Overall a great little tool and I will be buying more.

I haven't yet used it as a transplanter, but it is handy just as a trowel. My favorite trowel disappeared and I needed a replacement.
