Get started with composting without making a large investment!

This is a large standing compost bin. It's one of the few standing bins that requires minimal, tool-free assembly. Created using innovative Polish design, the entire unit snaps together in a matter of minutes. Once assembled, the unit can sit in a garden or in an out-of-the-way location. Simply add composting materials and let nature do the rest.

Composting will take anywhere from 1-12 months depending on environmental factors and materials added. Once the compost is ready, simply spread it on the lawn, use as mulch in the garden or combine with potting soil. Your plants will grow like you've never seen before. If you want to get started with composting without a large investment, get the Compost Wizard Eco Square.

Hard to put together

This composter was hard to put together, and I'm a person who can usually look at a picture and put things together quickly. The lid should have been one piece, not two. I pounded and pounded, and pried and pried with a screwdriver, and just couldn't get the two pieces together smoothly. The little clips that hold the sides together are also tricky. Once I finally figured out how to get one of them on, it went more quickly. The instructions were inadequate--just printed on the box and hard to see clearly. Next time I buy a composter, I'll go back to the Redmon, as I found them easier to put together (though I last bought a Redmon at least 8-9 years ago, so they may have changed since then).

worst compost bin

Flimsy sides, animals tore the door off the 1st night as I knew they would as soon as I unpacked it. The latch on the top is already broken. This will not last the winter.
