Lawn & Leaf Bags

It has finally happened. Summer's come and gone, and your trees, once bursting with brightly colored leaves, have begun to shed their excess baggage. Our lawn and leaf bags, aside from being multi-useful containers for just about anything, are a great way to transport large bundles of leaves from one place to another, and do so in the most efficient way possible.

Why can't I just leave my leaves on my lawn?

While keeping a tidy lawn is important, there are plenty of other reasons to rake up all those leaves you've been stockpiling in your backyard. For starters, they deprive cool-season grass lawns (most lawns in the northern U.S.) of the one thing they need most: sunlight. Beyond that, they can even block water, nutrients, and a healthy air flow from getting into your grass's root systems.

What should I do with my discarded leaves?

There are a ton of alternatives to just tossing your stockpiled leaves in the yard waste container and calling it a day. Our suggestion is to chop them up, let them decompose, and use them as mulch for the coming winter. Sprinkle the mulch over your garden beds for protection from the cold, wet season and you'll have a healthier garden come springtime.
