Bat Box: Give Bats a Safe Haven and Banish Pest Worries
Bats are very useful creatures; they can eat up to 3000 mosquitoes, moths, beetles and other insects a night. They mainly rest in groups, which also makes them vulnerable. Because of the increasingly efficient insulation of homes, its become more and more difficult for bats to find a place to live. This bat box offers a variety of smaller bat species an ideal place to live. Thanks to the special notches in the wood of the bat box, these flying mammals have a better grip and can enter the box more easily. A good place to hang the box is on the facade. The box should be somewhat sheltered, in other words not in full sunlight.
