QUESTION: How is the Landscape Fabric layed down when installed?
ANSWER: Landscape Fabric is installed with the "fuzzy" side down, then you can secure it with anchor pins such as our 616AP. If you are laying several pieces together overlap them about two inches and secure tight with anchor pins. You are now ready to cover it with mulch, gravel, etc.

shoddy manufacturing and extremely poor customer service
I received a 4' width and a 3' width. The 4' width was not sealed correctly on one side of the long edge. The backing was not connected to the top layer. I emailed them pictures. I was told that I had to rebox and take it to a local UPS store to return. The 3' width box had an oily substance on the box. I repeated the above. They sent me a defective product and I have to do all of the work to return it. I do NOT recommend their ground cover.Gardeners Edge responds: We have contacted this customer and sent prepaid shipping labels so they can be returned at no cost to the customer. Once we receive the items we will issue a refund. We sincerely apologize for any trouble or inconvenience this may have caused. In addition, we will further evaluate how we can prevent this problem from happening again in the future.

Solves many problems and eliminated mowing grass!
Two years ago I decided mowing grass is not my favorite thing, planned a sectioned garden and laid out this fabric for paths. It has stayed in place, not budged, prevented weeds, allowed water through, and generally made my life much easier by saving me a lot of time. I've pulled it up in places and reused it in others and it is none the worse for it. Best investment I ever made for the garden and yard. Oh, and driveway, too.
Weed barrier works
This stuff is great. It really keeps out weeds. I use it between plants, and on paths. If I change my mind I pick it up and move it.
5 oz landscape fabric
This is a good thick fabric that should last for years. It was very easy to cut with our titanium scissors and easy for my guys to place around plants. I have used several brands of weed mat over the years some good and some not so good. Since using this product I have nothing but good things to say and best of all my customers are happy and their beds are weed free. Great product.
woven landscape fabric
I bought this landscape fabric for my raised-bed garden to avoid weeds between the boxes. The fabric was easy to work with and laid nicely, BUT I have already had weeds coming right through it - particularly a very persistent type of grass. I am very disappointed in that. For the price (it was rather expensive), I would have thought it would keep out all the weeds. Since it was just installed this year, I can't speak for how it will wear throughout its life or if it will live up to its 10-year life expectancy.
5 oz Landscape Fabric
This landscape fabric is far superior to any other fabric that I have used. In spite of violent winds, it did not lift or tear. It blocked all weeds and allowed water to pass through quickly! I used the round top pins and I believe that they are much less likely to tear through the fabric. You should make them available in a quantity less than a thousand.

Landscape Fabric/Weed Mat
I shopped online for the heaviest weight weedmat I could find and this was it. I was a little disappointed because it wasn't as beefy as some I had 10 years ago purchased for me by a commercial grower friend. But it was definitly stronger than what I could find at garden and lumber stores. I bought both the 3' and 6'wide rolls. The 3' was lovely. The 6' was not woven so that it rolled out flat. It was tighter on one side and so it bunched with wrinkles over long spans (20'). That is a manufacturing glitch perhaps they can address in the future.
The best Landscape fabric there is!
We run landscaping company and have been using this product from AM Leonard for years. This is the only fabric we use and this is the only place we buy it. You can't beat the quality nor the price.
heavy duty ground cloth
This cloth is the best we have found to not dry rot in the sun.
Double D Excavating Landscaping and Agriculture
Landscape fabric 5 oz.
We bought because of Mike at A M Leonard's recommendation . We are amazed at its durability and lack of deterioration in our Co. intense sun.
I like the weight and how sturdy it is. The only down side is that it is hard to cut through. Weed control is great and adequate water gets through.
Ease of install - 625S5 fabric
Used to landscape around garden shed. Covered with 3/4 inch smooth stone so will hold up under foot traffic. Found it easy to cut and shape curves and holes for items within coverage. Also use for lining 4x4x4 compost bins. Used Leonard's Anchor pins 2420.
