Yep. Its great and its holding up, in the high desert at 4,000 ft elevation (closer to the sun), under HARD gardening conditions with LOTS of brush fire clearance required. I'll recommend it to everyone.
I have to admit I was skeptical about a hat made partly of paper; could it possibly hold up? Well, I have sweat through it, left it out in the rain, bunched it up and stored it over the winter and crammed it into my gardening bucket and it STILL looks, and more importantly, WORKS great. The leather cord is sturdy and holds it in place perfectly. I heartily recommend this hat.
I live in the desert in southern Arizona and wanted a hat with a really wide brim. The price was right, and I've been really pleased with it. When the hat arrived and I noticed on the information that it was made of paper I had serious doubts about how long it would last. I wear it several hours every day in 100+ temperature and no humidity. It's comfortable and lightweight and my head doesn't sweat. I'd definitely recommend it.
I just returned from a two week vacation and wore my new hat every day. The hat is very stylish and fits well. I love the adjustable strap and the wide brim, which did a very good job of keeping the Georgia sun off my face and neck. Before vacation, I wore it everyday gardening.
I like the wide brim which gives good coverage. I have one I use gardening and the other I use when hiking. The cord is great for windy days. Didn't fall apart in the rain and lasts longer than straw hats, which fall apart after hard use.
