I bought this to shade my Lady Slipper orchids. The plants were in a wooded shady corner of my property and I wanted them by the house so that I could enjoy them. I bought 50% cloth and use 2 layers to provide the level of shade that I need.
Knitted Polypropylene Shade cloth
The knitted shade cloth has held up to the elements very well. I was able to trim it to fit the area I wanted to shade. It was easy to work with. Most importantly it hasn't unraveled. The clips I bought for the cloth worked well and were easy to use.
Pull and Cut Shade cloth
the cost was a factor when I chose this product. It did a great job. I believe I bought the 30% and I was surprised when there were two layers, but I just used the snap clips that I also bought with the shade cloth. It did a great job for my hoop house. I would buy again.
Shade cloth on solar panels
Great for shading hot water solar panels. Robust, easy to maneuver, plastic clips work very well. Far better than other methods I've used and cheaper too!
Substantial shade material
I bought this to shade and protect my chicken run. It works great and looks good too.
shade for hammock
The fabric works great. Using the poly clips, I fastened the fabric to two metal stays (used in chain link fences), then fastened the stays to the hammock posts with rubber tarp straps. It provides just the right amount of shade and is not bothered by the wind.
knitted shade cloth
This product worked perfect for my needs. I have used in it my large greenhouse. This shade cloth is easy to handle , even in the large size that I needed. The sales person was just great. One the most helpful I have found in the industry. This alone will make me come back to this company for more greenhouse products. You can't go wrong with this company. Thanks for letting me comment.
Think Outside Of The Box
This stuff is great. I purchased it to replace the damaged canopy on my lawn swing. I love this old lawn swing and was upset when the canopy became torn during tree trimming. I found your knitted net while browsing a catalog (Gardeners Edge). I am thinking of creating winter canopies for my three raised beds and attempt to grow veggies year round.
Knitted Shade Fabric
I live in the desert at 4600 feet, so it is high, dry, hot, windy, and lots of UV. Everything I have used previously to shade my vegetable garden enclosure has either been shredded by the wind, disintegrated by the UV within a month or two, or destroyed by hail. The knitted shade fabric was easy to install, and so far has lasted longer than anything else.
