QUESTION: Can I fill the Treegator and then put it in place? ANSWER: The material used is strong but the Treegator should not be moved when filled with water. QUESTION: Can I use the cover for the fill hole as a handle to hold the Treegator upright while I fill it with water? ANSWER: No, the cover will have a tendency to tear off when the Treegator gets full of water. Instead, use the handle loop molded into the product. The Treegator works very well, especially on newly planted and younger trees. The slow drip irrigation system is perfect for the most effective watering. I also appreciate the time it saves by being self-regulated. I have several. Do not leave them out all winter as the cold deteriorates the material.
5 StarsTree Gators and Tree Gator Jr.

Like both of these products. The Jr. are real nice when the regular gator will not fix. Also, the Jr. is easy to mulch over and not have it seen. Highly recommend both.
