2 Stars pole pruner

Patrick T. from MD wrote (October 07, 2011):

Good concept and the cutting head is well-designed. However.... The telescoping action is incredibly tight and froze shut within a month of very moderate usage. Expensive toy with minimal real world (let alone crew world) applications.

2 Stars Sniper Pruner

Operations Manager of a landscape company from AZ wrote (October 07, 2011):

In general the sniper pruner seems like it will do the job, but it's not made to prune in large volumes. It has proven to have a shorter, useful life than other simular products. The blade binds and pulls towards the rigged edge of the bench and that tends to damage the blade. I like the concept, but this is for the homeowner, not for commercial use.

5 Stars sniper pole pruner #726

Carlos O. from TX wrote (October 07, 2011):

I have had two prior pole pruners and these are the best blades, sharp, no loose rope to get stuck in branches, multiple angles is great. The only drawback is the pull handle is sometimes out of reach to make a cut, so you learn to pull cord closest to you out before engaging blades and so you pull cord until you can reach handle and make your cut. Great product.

5 Stars Sniper fulfills need

Bob S. from OH wrote (October 07, 2011):

This seems to be a great in-between pruner for me. I have a common type of long pole trimmer but find it heavy and awkward for medium range trimming. This pruner is light enough and maneuverable but also has a good reach.

5 Stars Best Pole Pruner Ever!

Female Gardener from WA wrote (October 06, 2011):

I love this pruner. The extension is very long and what I needed for my trees. It cuts great. I am a woman and can handle this tool fully extended in most cases. If I am in a really tight position I can still handle the tool fully extended but I get my husband to pull down on the collar to make the cut so that I can keep the pruners exactly where I want them. This tool cuts large branches and I find it the best extension or pole cutter that I have found on the market.
