Carry the Sideswipe with the pad elevated above the handle to help stop over-wetting the pad, which may cause dripping. A shut off valve (such as our 304so or so22 or 300so) can be added between the handle and the elbow to prevent dripping during storage or while carrying from one area to another. The elbow has hose threads for this purpose. Adding chemical to the water solution in the handle does not prevent dripping if the Sideswipe is carried without elevating the pad above the handle (per manufacturer).FAQ
