excellent for planting any kind of material in soft or hard soils. very happy with it.
Simply the best. Compact, sturdy. In Texas dirt it works! This is my second purchase for same item - cried when I lost the first one after 16 years.
I love this little trowel. It has good weight, feels very sturdy and we put it to the test digging up small bushes, etc. It is very well made and we expect to have it for a long time. The only drawback possibly is that I lost it in the grass a couple of times so had to paint the handle red. Otherwise it is a great buy.
As a professional landscaper I am always digging. Often I need to perform repairs on irrigation systems in tight areas with lots of hard soil and roots. This is the tool that gets it done!
My grandson lost my old trowel. I needed a replacement. I purchased this trowel and I unwrapped it the day I came to plant bulbs. It works great. The wooden handle is very comfortable. It fits my artheritic hand comfortablely. The paint coating releases my dirt and it is easy to clean up.
