Hot Pepper Wax™ Natural Insect Repellent

Protect vegetables from insect damage up to 2 weeks, AND you can spray and harvest the same day! Bonus: also acts as an anti-transpirant, a boost for new transplants!

Finally, an all-natural insect repellent safe to put on vegetables. Hot Pepper Wax natural insect repellent is a garden/greenhouse spray repellent and insecticide proven effective against aphids, spider mites, whiteflies, cabbage loopers, beet armyworms and much more!

Protects up to two weeks with one treatment. The chief active ingredient, capsaicin, is an extract from cayenne peppers. It's harmless to humans—in fact, it's as edible as the sauce on barbecued buffalo wings. Using a patented formula and process, Hot Pepper Wax blends capsaicin with a highly refined paraffin wax and other food grade ingredients. The result is a spray that coats plants with a harmless, microthin barrier to deter pests.

Some insects are done in by the capsaicin, others by the wax. It also acts as an anti-transpirant, reducing water loss and stress...a true benefit for new transplants! Safe for edible crops—just wash it off in warm water! Available in a quart (5539) or gallon (10128).

5 Stars Holey Moley--no more damage

from MA wrote :

This year I expanded my organic vegetable garden and bought some semi-tropical flowers. It may be related to earth-weather changes, but a lot of seedlings and shrubs were attacked by small bugs I'd never seen before. A gardening friend reports similar experiences. I had some dust but the hot pepper wax appealed to me. I sprayed it on everything--used the whole spray container. And it worked really well. My potatoes hardly have a beetle, no aphids or Japanese beetles on the roses, and the hibiscus which was eaten off the top by those little buggers has grown back. And two week repeats are about right. So I ordered a gallon and it's taking care of all the problems. If only the moles hated it!

5 Stars so far a great deal

The bugs and I go round and round. So far the pepper spray seems to be letting me eat my veggies, not them. This seems to be a good buy compared to other brands I have purchased and seems to work as well.
