I have owned these garden bags for years and they are incredible! When I find a deal I always try to buy extra because they last for years, but do eventually wear out (though repairs with duct tape will extend their lives if needed)!
If you're a grower, this bag is perfect for growing your potatoes in. You can adjust the height and add more soil as the potatoes grow and the openings for drainage are simply an added bonus.
For small cleanups or just walking around the property picking up and deadheading, this bag is a winner. Collapses for easy storage and its smaller sizer makes it easy to carry. For larger cleanups go with a tarp. With longer handles to make it possible to do a one handed carry it would be a 5.
I just came in from deadheading my Rhodies and I use a 5 gallon bucket among the shrubs then dump it into the Pop-up. When full the Pop-up drags easily across the lawn to be emptied. Collapses and stores easily. My neighbor was seriously impressed but is financially challenged right now so I bought him one. His smile alone was worth it. I also have your pole pruner and it is outstanding also; saves a lot of dragging the ladder around. Brillantly designed and quality constructed products, keep up the good work! Cheers, David
Great bag for garden cleanup. Got one for me and one for my mom. It helps her to get her garden waste and leaves to the curb. The hard bottom makes it easy to pull along the grass or driveway. We fill ours and throw it in the van to take to the compost site.
I have been using this bag for about 1 month. I like the amount it holds, however, it seems a little top heavy. I like the convenience of folding up to store it in a small place. I also like the firmer bottom. I drug the bottom out of the old one.
If a gardener ever gets lazy about throwing out pulled weeds, dead leaves/branches etc., then this is a product to help pick the debris off your ground. This product is not only stylish and functional, but can be transported to the yard waste place without any spillage in your car. It has straps on both the bottom and top for grabbing and is lightweight too. I wouldn't recommend dragging your kangaroo along the ground/grass because you might scratch the hard fiberglass bottom or rip the handles. Be gentle with your kangaroo and it will assist you with all your yard cleanups year round.
This is our second pop-up basket. I like the portable nature of it and the fact that it takes up so little space in the tool shed. I like the improvements of the holes in the bottom so that water can't collect if I forget and leave it out.
We have been using this bag for the last six years. It seems to hold up well and I like the design. Unfortunately it was redesigned last year and the new product is not as durable. The smaller bag only lasted a month before the springs popped out. The big bags have weaker handles which ripe much more easily and we also have problems with the anchors ripping off. The new bags are only lasting a few months for us which is a huge disappointment and has made these bags a very expensive tool.
I love these Kangaroo pop-up bags. They last for years and hold lots of garden clippings securely in place in even windy conditions. I have two sizes and although I like this larger size, I find the smaller one more useful for most tasks, such as weeding and gentle pruning, that lend themselves to a more compact and easily handled container.
Really like the size of this bag plus the hard shell bottom with helper handle. So far have used it for transporting compost and mulch to the garden and picking up storm debris. Like the fact it is easy to push together and clip for storage. Looks to be well constructed for many seasons of use.
