Overall Rating: 4/5
Used this prior to an ice/snow storm and it really helped keep it from sticking to the concrete which made for easy clearing, as it was not stuck to the concrete!! Would recommend it as a pretreatment to keep ice from sticking to concrete!!
No Difference Noticed
I tried this product during 2 separate snow events and found no difference regarding accumulation from my neighbors that did not use the product.

Bareground Liquid Deicer
I liked this product because it worked well as a spray in the areas I wanted to be able to clear quickly and with minimum effort. I'm 86 and not as strong as I once was so quickly loosening slabs of icy snow and pushing them out of the way easily was a great help to me. Thanks!
I had high hopes for this deicer. I have a steep driveway that gets slippery even with fastidious care. The liquid deicer improved the efficacy of my salt/ shoveling be definitely did not prevent snow and ice accumulation as I'd hoped.

Handled snow, sleet, freezing rain . . .
Bought one gallon to try it; returned after it worked & was used. Mixed about 50/50 with water & sprayed in a setting with ice & slop on concrete. Work over the next day.

Wonderful product; helped me cut down on time spent with shovel. No mess left behind like rock salt.

I applied it before a heavy snow storm on the sidewalks and did not get the results I anticipated. I think this product would be good for smaller snow events.
Wish there was more snow to try it more
I am not complaining but here in Michigan and living by one of the lakes, we usually get quite a bit of snow, so I bought the Deicer for that particular reason. Well this year was totally different & we didn’t get much snow at all. There were two times I was able to try the Deicer. One time it worked I put it down at night & woke up to see my driveway being the only one that was wet & all the others coated with snow. Haha. But the other time I used the Deice, I didn’t notice a difference at all with about tha same amount of snow as when it worked. So I am not sure what I did different for it to work one time & not the other. I would like to have tried it more than I did to see if I could duplicate either result, either it works well, or it doesn’t??? So I am 50/50 and saying 2 ½ stars. I will have to put down 3 since it is over 2.
I bought this product to keep ice from forming on my brick sidewalk. After a night of freezing rain and a 2 inch snowfall our sidewalk was the same as all the other sidewalks in the block.
We hoped it work on our stone pathway. It did not do a very good job.
Have used this product as pretreatment before storms, and on driveways after clearing larger amounts of snow. It works well - especially with sleet/freezing rain. Walk behind liquid spreader is helpful for large areas (we treat 12,000 sq.ft. per storm).
A wonderful product
Here in the northeast, we are having a lot of snow (and ice). I applied this product and it really worked. My front walk stays clear, and falling snow can be brushed off with a broom.
BEEN USING THIS PRODUCT FOR 3 YEARS AND HAVE BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH IT. SPRAY BEFORE ICE FORMS, AND IT MAKES IT EASIER TO REMOVE THE ICE WITH A SHOVEL. ICE WILL NOT STICK TO CEMENT. USE A PESTICIDE SPRAYER TANK TO APPLY. WORKS GREAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT.
